over a year ago when i was surfing youtube i watched this video *what even is subpixel art* by japhy riddle .
i dont remember if i stumbeld upon that video by myself or its the algorythm
anyways
after watching that vid i got an idea
but i was too busy with work , and too lazy to try it out
so what i did is , saving it
i saved the idea , hoping that one day ... future me would try it out
and i think at this point in this line , yall have already guessed
future me made it !!!!!!
here are some pictures !!!!!!!!

picture 1 : saved idea on sticky note stickynote

the original idea was to make an big square "real life" or analog , subpixel art
of chappel roan's album cover *the rise an fall of midnight princess*

Two Resons i wanted to try rice-grain approach , not digital one
  • i did not trusted myself with digital art softwares i wanted to try something that not being done before
  • picture 2,3,4 : my first finished draft

picture 2 : this is a far shot , i hope yall can see the yellow's

    No ?

picture 3 : if you saw yellow , you fell for the trick .. coz there's no actual yellow in this artwork
    see

and in this picture yall can see the borderline where red and green mixes to make an illusion of yellow
